Thursday December 6, 2007 My first solo show of 2008 "First Impressions" will be at Florida Community College at Jacksonville's Kent Campus gallery for the month of February. Tuesday September 4, 2007 St. Augustine Art Association Members Fall Show opens Sunday Sept. 9 with reception from 2pm to 5pm. Exhibit continues through Sept. 30, 2007. Wednesday December 13, 2006 Artists and Their Images show began Sunday Dec. 10 at the St. Augustine Art Association. It will run till Jan. 7, 2007. Includes my early 2002 painting (later completed in 2005) "Boy with Pears." Monday November 20, 2006 The Jacksonville International Airport Arts Commission web site has bios of all the artists who have work on display in the Haskell Gallery and the Art Kiosks. The artists include Jack Casey, Michael Spicer, Keith Doles (me), and Carolyn Schlam. We are also listed in the local events on the Jacksonville and the Beaches convention and visitors bureau site. Thursday November 2, 2006 The Jacksonville Aviation Authority newsletter has an article about the art kiosks display featuring mixed media sculptures by Miami artist Carolyn Schlam and wood sculptures by Jacksonville arist Keith Doles (me). Wednesday October 25, 2006 The Jacksonville International Airport will display several of my "Dancers: Graceful Motion" wood sculptures in the art kiosks from November 1, 2006 - February 2, 2007. They are located in the Terminal building near the escalators before the central courtyard. Wednesday September 6, 2006 The Ritz Theatre and LaVilla Museum in Jacksonville will host an Artists' Marketplace in the lobby Saturday Sept. 9 from 11am to 4 pm. Also, the "Mother and Daughter" painting on display in the St. Augustine Art Center received very positive responses and has attracted a buyer! Monday June 19, 2006 The Ritz Theatre & LaVilla Museum's annual "Through Our Eyes" opens Thursday June 29 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. This year's theme "A Legacy Illuminated" is about African-American history in Jacksonville. The exhibit features work by several local artists. Look for my new assemblage titled "March." I plan to show my work in their next members' exhibit in mid-April. The brAIDS 13th ARTreach Auction and Gala is scheduled for Thursday, March 23, 2006 at the Schultz Center at 4019 Boulevard Center Drive in Jacksonville from 6 P.M. to 10 P.M. Proceeds are distributed to HIV/AIDS agencies that provide education, prevention, and support services in Northeast Florida. Several Jacksonville artists have donated their work to this event. I submitted my latest piece called "The Firebird #2". There are 2 auctions, the Silent Auction starts at 6:00 P.M. and the Live Auction at 8:00 P.M. Sunday January 1, 2006 Site Update!
