Friday, November 21, 2008My American Beach painting was chosen to be published in ArtWanted.com's 2009 calendar. ArtWanted.com is an international portfolio site that promotes and publishes artwork from artists from around the globe. American Beach will be featured on the date March 4, 2009. Pears and the The Country were printed in the 2008 calendar.

Friday September 5, 2008St. Augustine Art Association Fall Art Show opens this Sunday (Sept. 7) with reception at 2pm. Also, my "Afternoon at the Harbor" painting based on a St. Augustine boat harbor remains on display at the Wachovia Bank on historic King Street until Sept. 30.
Saturday July 12, 2008My new solo exhibit Graphic Art and Paintings Too is set to open November 13, 2008 at Florida Community College at Jacksonville North Campus. Show will have prints of my best client graphic designs, African themed paintings, Street Scenes II paintings, and a number of new paintings. More details to come.

Tuesday June 10, 2008Through Our Eyes 2008: Everything Must Change opens Thursday, June 12. I've entered my new painting titled "Late Bloomer" which symbolizes personal artistic growth and change at their own pace and later in time, not at the normal, predictible pace of development of others.
Sunday June 1, 2008My new painting American Beach has made ArtWanted.com's Top Ten Club on June 1 for receiving at least 10 comments from other artists/members from around the world. Thank you!!
Monday April 21, 2008St. Augustine Art Associaton Spring Members Show opened yesterday. I entered one of my favorite paintings, Pears, 2007.
Beaches Fine Arts Series new athletic event used my design for the duathlon race and T-shirts. The race took place in the town of Nocatee in the Ponte Vedra area on Saturday, April 19.
Monday February 4, 2008"First Impressions" starts tomorrow with opening reception at FCCJ Kent Campus Gallery (Building E Room 112) from 6 - 8pm. Exhibit includes several new paintings, premiere of Street Scenes Series II, and complete Dancers sculpture series. Continues through Feb. 26, 2008.
