Work experience
Present: Graphic Artist/ Assistant Web Designer
Designs professional and conceptual logos for clients. Creates original promotional art for both print and web production. Graphic artist works with the web designer and the client during the design process and web site production. Other duties include client web site maintenence, web page design, and image editing.
2002-2005: Freelance Artist
Constructed conceptual art for gallery presentations and custom paintings for clients. Two major commissions included portraits of National Football League wide receivers Rod Gardner (Washington Redskins, 2002) and Dez White (Chicago Bears, 2002).
2001-2002: Illustrator
Creatively and efficiently worked with Impact Press magazine in the illustration for the back cover of their April/May issue. Promptly arranged layout designs, and finished art for editor and graphic designer in a timely manner. Proficient in using traditional and technical methods for artwork such as pen and ink, acrylics, and digital imaging programs including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe PhotoShop and Painter Classic.
1998-1999: FCCJ Fine Arts Talent Grant
Participated as an enthusiastic team player in arranging wall spaces for large paintings, 3D designs, and varieties of cast sculptures. Actively and efficiently assisted instructors during and after classes. Diligently accomplished requirements from professors for the talent grant.
