Work experience

2010 - Present: Media Arts Professor
Instructor for undergraduate web graphic design courses in the Media Arts and Technology BA degree program at DeVry University Jacksonville Metro campus. Uses blended learning techniques to aid student learning, application, and synthesis of the curriculum through in-class and interactive online courses.

2010 - Present: Painting Instructor
Conduct acrylic painting workshops at Michaels Stores demonstrating basic fine art techniques to beginner and advanced art students.

2005 - Present: Graphic Artist
Designs professional and conceptual commercial art for clients in both print and web production. Graphic artist works with the web designer and the client during the design process and web site production. Other duties include client web site maintenance, web page design, and programming.

2002-2005: Freelance Artist
Constructed conceptual art for gallery presentations and custom paintings for clients. Two major commissions included portraits of National Football League wide receivers Rod Gardner (Washington Redskins, 2002) and Dez White (Chicago Bears, 2002).

1998-1999: FCCJ Fine Arts Talent Grant
Worked with instructors and volunteers in arranging gallery spaces for student and professional exhibitions. Served as an assistant for fine art professors during art studio classes.
