These landscapes were created from some of the photos I took on vacations over the years. The thing my pictures had in common was that the sky was either too bright or too cloudy. So, I painted my skies based upon the environment in the scenery. "Harbor" was taken from the St. Augustine downtown plaza view of the Spanish villa-style houses on the other side of the bridge. I sometimes rearrange the positions of buildings for dynamism and to truly say that these are MY landscapes. Like a coloring book, I filled in the white areas [from my photos] with colors that compliment the scenery's atmosphere.
