These landscapes were created en plein-air and from the photos I took on vacations over the years. The thing my pictures had in common was that the sky was either too bright or too cloudy. So, I painted my skies based upon the environment in the scenery. I sometimes rearrange the positions of buildings for dynamism and to truly say that these are MY landscapes. Like a coloring book, I filled in the white areas [from my photos] with colors that compliment the scenery's atmosphere.
